so far...
...So good. We got the condo!!! WooHoo! I signed the lease papers last week. I get the keys and do the walk thru on the 1st. I'm movin' to Cheeselake!!! Like literally less than a block away from the actual lake. I really like the location because the Etrata's are just around the corner and I have a place to walk Dux thats pet friendly. I know, I'd rather buy instead of renting, but its all I can do right now. Hopefully by next summer, I can seriously consider buying.
I finally got my Blackberry Curve. After bitching and moaning about it for the last 2 months, I finally bought it. I got the crimson one, cause well, titanium wasn't "cute" enough for me. Hehehe, you know me and cute.
I really like the QWERTY keyboard and the calendar feature. It really helps to keep me organized. Totally worth it.
So, my Duxie is getting neutered tomorrow. My poor baby. I'm sure he'll be fine. I just don't want his personality to change too much. If I could custom order, I'd ask for less barking and no more marking his territory if you know what I mean. Other than that, he's a really good dog.
It's really starting to dawn on me that my family is going to be in Sacramento. I'm going to miss them so much. Shopping with my Mom. Walking Dux with Rudy. Even waiting for my Dad to finish watching the Padres lose so I can take over the TV. I'm going to miss it all. Worst part is, I won't get to see Rudy finish growing up. He's only 11. The most important years of his adolescence are coming up and I won't be there to witness it. His first day of high school, getting his license, his first date. Everything is changing so quickly. Thinking about it leaves heaviness in my heart. I am nothing without my family.
On a brighter note, I'm going to New Orleans! It's been announced that this years leadership conference will be in New Orleans. Its in October and its all expenses paid and since its for the company, I still get paid. Like a working paid vacation. I'm really excited. I need to research the city. I don't really know much about it except for, Mardi Gras, beingnets(sp?) and Emeril's Commander's Palace.
I'm ready to go nuts at Ikea. Not really nuts, but there are a few things I want to get.
End tables for the living room. They're really brown-black.

2 lamps for the living room
A small computer desk for my room
I should get them soon because I think they're having a sale right now and while I still have access to the Pilot!
I'm sure I have more to say. I just can't remember the rest right now!
